THE bar
Located in the former Monnet cooperage, "Le 1838" offers some 300 cognac references from over 40 houses, as well as a wide range of spirits and champagne selected by our teams.
Every evening, the team showcases its latest creations in the bar's festive atmosphere.

Our bar is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Perched above the city, our Rooftop offers a unique experience with panoramic views of Cognac, ideal for enjoying refined cocktails, a chic atmosphere, sunsets, and games of pétanque in an exceptional setting.
The Rooftop season is now over and it is currently closed. It will reopen in summer 2026 for more unforgettable moments.

HEAD BARTENDER MICKAËL ULRICH
Our talented head bartender, Mickael Ulrich, welcomes you to the pinnacle of the cocktail experience.
Mickael arrived at the beginning of 2025 and has breathed new life into our bar by completely reinventing the cocktail menu. His original creations, both daring and refined, are already winning over customers with their balance, aestheticism and inventiveness.
Creative, rigorous and passionate, he conceives each cocktail as a true sensory experience, designed to sublimate the moment and perfectly match the panoramic view from our rooftop.
Accompanied by his bartenders Isaack, Thomas, and Nicolas, he forms a close-knit and friendly team, where the pleasure of welcoming guests can be felt every moment spent at the bar.
